General Guidelines
– Check your pre-departure materials for the most up-to-date packing list specific to your trip.

– Keep your luggage to the basics and avoid bringing hair dryers, irons, radios, excess clothing, or toiletries.
Adventure Essentials
Daypack/Backpack: For carrying cameras and other items.
Clothing Tips:
– Avoid bright or white-colored clothing.
– Army camouflage uniforms and hats are forbidden.
– Wear light-colored, lightweight clothing, especially in Tanzania.
– Dress in layers with warm clothing for early mornings and evenings.
– Bring a wide-brim hat and sunscreen for sun protection.
– Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts in the Ngorongoro Crater to avoid dust.
– Plastic grocery bags are banned in Kenya and Tanzania.

October-March:
- Dress in layers with a fleece pullover and lightweight clothing.
