Day 1: NAIROBI – LAKE NAKURU

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley, On the way, you will have a brief stop to view the stunning Rift valley. On arrival proceed on a game-drive as you head to your lodge. The park host the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and rhinos among other wildlife. On arrival at the lodge, check in and have lunch as you relax and enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Nakuru National Park. An exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. The Park is also home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. Back to the lodge in the evening.

Day 2: FULL DAY LAKE NAKURU

After breakfast spend full day in the park with packed lunch. There is also an option of morning and afternoon game drive with lunch at the lodge. During the game drives, you will view the parks popular residents including famous white Rhino and black rhino. Other animals found in the park include, lions, leopards, flamingos, Egyptian geese, waterbuck, giraffes, hyenas, buffalos, baboons, vervet monkeys etc.

Back to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 3: LAKE NAKURU– MAASAI MARA

After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Masai Mara. On arrival, you will have an en-route game drive as you proceed to the lodge where you will check in and have lunch. After lunch and a short rest, you will have an afternoon game drive.

Back to the lodge in the evening for dinner. After dinner you can relax around a fireplace being entertained or head to your room.

The Masai Mara is the most famous reserve due to its large population of wildlife. It is one of the few places where all of the “Big Five’” are found. This park also boasts 470 species of birds and rare animals like roan antelopes and nocturnal bat-eared foxes. You will also see the beautiful lilac-breasted roller which is Kenya’s national bird.

Day 4: MAASAI MARA FULL DAY

Our morning game drive starts soon after breakfast when we again head deep into the wild in search of its thrills and spills. A balloon safari can be arranged for this day. Like the evening game drive, morning drives are very rewarding in terms of wildlife and riveting scenery. You can expect immense multitudes of the Big Five, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, and wildebeests. The birds aren’t shy either as the kingfisher, hornbill, secretary bird, and kori bustard are expected to appear

At noon, we gather under the signature acacia tree in the Mara for a delicious packed lunch from the Mara Serena. Afterwards, our game drive continues with an afternoon to evening game drive.

Every turn within the Mara reveals new sets of attractions to admire. If we are not fussing over the wildlife, sunburned Savannah, or bird variety, then we are admiring the scenery.

We return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 5: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI

After breakfast, you will head to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be hosted for lunch at the famous carnivore restaurant and the dropped at your hotel or the airport.
